, Lisa hosts local news from Chicago on NPR’s morning news program. Lisa joined the staff of Chicago Public Radio in January 1999 as a reporter for
Morning Edition
.
Prior to joining Chicago Public Radio, Lisa worked as a reporter and host of
Morning Edition
for WUWM Milwaukee Public Radio. She was part of a team of reporters that earned several awards for three series of reports that focused on aging, schools and people working non-conventional jobs in Milwaukee. The series was honored by theAssociated Press, the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, the Milwaukee Press Club and the Northwest Broadcasting News Association.
Lisa also was a staff reporter and host of
Morning Edition
and
All Things Considered
at WGLT in Normal, Illinois, and has been a reporter for the Great Lakes Radio Consortium.
Lisa has a B.S. in English and Liberal Arts from Illinois State University.
Originally from Clarendon Hills, Illinois, Lisa resides in Oak Park with her husband, Christopher.
