Wendy Turner

As general manager, Wendy oversees all day-to-day operations on Vocalo, a new broadcast and web service on 89.5 FM in Chesterton, Indiana and on Vocalo.org.
Wendy joined the staff of Chicago Public Radio in February 2000 as assistant membership manager, later becoming pledge drive manager, director of on-air and online fundraising, and director of membership.
Prior to joining Chicago Public Radio, Wendy worked at Minnesota Public Radio, first as a telemarketing associate, later becoming a member/listener service associate and associate producer of on-air fundraising.
Wendy has a B.A. in Theater from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
Originally from Farmington, Minnesota, Wendy resides in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago with her husband, David Pearson.
