Yesterday at 3:30 in the afternoon, poets across the city and suburbs got up in designated locations and launched a literary assault. We dropped in one such spot: Scoville Park in suburban Oak Park. We spoke with that location’s organizer, Dave Gecic.

David Gecic is a poet, and runs the small independent publisher, Puddin'head Press.

The event, The Poetry Bomb, was the brainchild of Estaban Colon and Buddha 309.

Other poets featured (in order of appearance):
Carol Anderson – Poet and author of Ordinary (Puddin’head Press)
Andrew Meier – Poet
William Smith – Poet
Adam Jirik – Poet, and student at Oak Park-River Forest High School
