What began as a conversation about a new home for a Chicago museum has escalated into a major showdown. The controversy over whether to move the Children’s Museum from Navy Pier to Grant Park has turned into a tiny Cold War complete with heated rhetoric, accusations and brinksmanship. Tomorrow, the tension comes to a head, with the City Council set to vote on the move. That is, of course, unless our guest decides otherwise.

Alderman Brendan Reilly represents the 42nd Ward, and is the chief opponent of moving the Museum to Grant Park.  Also joining us is Jennifer Farrington, president and CEO of the Chicago Children’s Museum and a strong backer of the move.
