Senators Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton are planning a joint appearance next week, according to published reports. They're expected to try and cool tensions among Democratic voters and more immediately, among Democratic donors. Still, relations between the candidates' camps remain unsettled. Earlier this week, Obama hired Clinton's former campaign manager, Chicagoan Patti Solis Doyle. Doyle will be chief of staff for Obama's yet-unnamed running mate. Some have speculated that move is an olive branch to Clinton, others, that it's more like a stick in the eye. For some insight into how Clinton supporters are leaning, we're joined now by longtime Chicago Democratic strategist, Delmarie Cobb.

Thanks for having someone as astute as Delmarie Cobb on your show. It is all about nuance to the pros in politics and she knows that.

Delmarie sounded as bitter as Hillary Clinton. She commented about how Hillary was attacked, but failed to mention the attacks on Barack. I felt her anger and bitterness.
