Spertus Institute’s New CEO Explains Future of the Center

The Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies began 85 years ago in Chicago as a center for teaching history and culture. It has become a museum of prime real estate in Chicago, but recent exhibitions on Jewish noses, historic Middle Eastern maps, and others have sparked controversy. While they’re not shying away from their new image, their new CEO, Hal Lewis, explains the Institute’s plans.
