The Warrior Poetry Project: A Concert Reading of Poems by Veterans
Sunday, November 22, 2009 @ 5:30 p.m.

Remy Bumppo Theatre Company and the Vet Art Project present the Warrior Poetry Project, a free hour-long poetry reading of original poetry written and performed by Vietnam War Veterans and guest artists from Remy Bumppo. This event features poets and veterans Matt Ping, Timothy Brien, A.D. Moore, Tyler Zabel, Remy Bumppo Artistic Associate Greg Matthew Anderson, and Lookingglass Theatre Ensemble Member Raymond Fox (The Voysey Inheritance).

The reading begins at 5:30 p.m.. Admission is free and reservations are recommended. To reserve seats, send an e-mail to info@remybumppo.org by noon on Friday, Nov. 20.

Prior to the poetry reading, Remy Bumppo presents a 2:30 p.m. matinee performance of Heroes, the hilarious story of three WWI veterans who get a second chance for one momentous mission. Tickets are $40 and available online at www.remybumppo.org or by calling the box office at 773-404-7336.

Remy Bumppo is taking reservations for a 4:30 p.m. dinner at Simply It restaurant next door to the theater. To make your post-show and pre-poetry reading dinner reservations, send an e-mail to info@remybumppo.org by noon on Friday, Nov. 20, and be sure to include the name and number of guests in your party.
