Community Outreach: Meet the Teachers
Five Chicago Public School teachers with a love for science and a commitment to passing their enthusiasm onto their students have joined the project. Each of them instruct students who come overwhelmingly from disenfranchised neighborhoods. Many of the students would be the first in the family to attend college. The schools themselves lack modern labs and science materials, especially when compared to more well-endowed schools in the city and larger region.
