While I can't claim to understand what the name means, Sky Full of Bacon is a welcome addition to Chicago's food media landscape. Michael Gebert, a founder of LTHForum and contributor to the Chicago Reader, is producing video segments every few weeks that focus on interesting people and places in the world of food as well as instructional content as he sees fit. The first episode asks how people in urban settings can eat locally. While the guests are interesting individuals, the video does drag a bit (it's almost 20 minutes long) and comes off a little cheerleader-ish. Still, it's a great idea and shows a lot of promise- I'll be watching for episode 2.
