Get on the Bus for Human Rights (GOTB) is an annual day of human rights education and activism organized by Amnesty International USA. On Saturday, April 28, 2012, activists and members of the public from 13 Midwest states came together in Chicago to demonstrate in support of human rights in Syria, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan. The event features poems by Afghan poet Nadia Anjoman, who wrote extensively about the rights of the women of her country and was killed in 2005 after publishing her first book.

Nadia's story helped inspire the creation of UniVerse of Poetry, an online anthology of international poetry dedicated to peace, compassion and understanding.
Recorded Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.
