February 10, 2009

Detail of relief at Cambodian Association of Illinois headquarters in Chicago. Chicago is home to the only Cambodian genocide memorial outside of Cambodia.‚  I visited the memorial to see how Chicagoans were remembering the Pol Pot era.‚  Hear some of the people I met today on Worldview. Also, we'll talk about Cambodia's controversial tribunal for Khmer Rouge atrocities.‚  The first trial of Khmer Rouge officials starts next Tuesday.
