Six years ago, Ford Motor Company was on the brink of economic collapse.  The once-leader of the world’s automotive industry, Ford had been battered and bruised by the recession and a bitter corporate culture within the company.  CEO Alan Mullally is credited for bringing Ford through the worst of the storm, avoiding a bailout and bringing Ford back from failure. 

Bryce Hoffman, author of the recent book American Icon joins Afternoon Shift on Tuesday to discuss how Mullally’s leadership style helped revive the iconic car company.
