Sons of the Never Wrong get it right for 20 years and counting

May 1, 2012

Sons of the Never Wrong mix folk and whimsy, as they have for the past 20 years. The band is out with a pair of albums, including a self-described "churchy" release, Church of the Never Wrong, and this weekend they celebrate two decades of down-home folk with a pair of shows. They perform Sunday (4 p.m. and 7 p.m.) at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood.*

Band members Sue Demel, Deborah Lader and Bruce Roper join Eight Forty-Eight Tuesday to talk about their time together and perform songs from throughout their career.

*Headlining the bill Sunday is Corky Siegel's Chamber Blues, who join Eight Forty-Eight Friday as our musical guests.
