The spring session of the Illinois legislature wrapped up on Thursday; Friday's Eight Forty-Eight checks in with WBEZ's statehouse reporter Michael Puente and talks to Representative Elaine Nekritz and Senator Matt Murphy to get the final score on major issues like pension reform and the budget. A byproduct of this unproductive session were a lack of ACA mandated health exchanges in Illinois, which did not get pushed through. And Alison Cuddy talks about a long-standing cinematic pleasure: the midnight movie.
