Eavesdropping: Later today, a Cook County judge is expected to rule on the constitutionality of the Illinois Eavesdropping Act, which makes it illegal to record public conversations without prior consent. The American Civil Liberties Union has been a staunch opponent of the bill. Adam Schwartz, senior lawyer at the ACLU-IL, gives the details.
