Chicago-based chip maker Vitner Co. was sold to California company Snak King Corp., the firm announced on Tuesday.
Vitner’s has been a staple to Chicago stores, restaurants and bars for decades. The company was founded in Chicago in 1926, according to Vitner’s website.
"Joining with Snak King enables Vitner's to deliver a truly nationwide solution to our customers in terms of products, distribution and services,” said Bill Vitner, Chairman and CEO of C.J. Vitner. "Snak King has been at the forefront of our industry in quality and innovation, and we are delighted to have joined their team."
