The BDS movement has gained some traction among Jewish scholars like Neve Gordon of Ben Gurion University.  Last month he wrote an op-ed in the Los Angeles Times about why he now supports the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement against the Israeli occupation.

Alon Pinkas is the Ambassador-at-Large for the State of Israel. It's safe to say that Ambassador Pinkas does not agree with Neve Gordon...

It sounds to me like Alon Pinkus is trying to say that Israel is no better than Iran, so why should we punish them for behaving no better than Iran?
