Flying solo with Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump
November 9, 2011
Produced by Eight Forty-Eight
What do you do when you have some time off from your multi-platinum-selling rock band? If you’re Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, you take a bit of a detour.
Stump recently released the straight-up pop record Soul Punk, and this Friday he will play a show at Metro in Chicago. He recently joined Eight Forty-Eight in studio to talk about his new direction.
But before he talked he played a stripped-down acoustic performance of the first single from Soul Punk, "This City."
Later he performed "Explode" also from Soul Punk.
