Thursday Podcast: Chicago French Market
December 17, 2009
After running a string of successful outdoor markets in the suburbs, the Bensidoun family has just opened a year-round, indoor French Market at the Metra station (Oglivie Transportation Center) downtown.‚ I spoke with Sebastien Bensidoun about it, as well as Bob Wislow, from U.S. Equities, about the real estate situation in the West Loop, near the market.‚ I also spoke with one of the market vendors, who happens to be selling bahn mi, one of my favorite Vietnamese sandwiches.
