This time of year, Piccolo Sogno appears in everyone's round-up of the best alfresco dining options in the city. But today I'm focussing on a small wooden table inside, adjacent to the kitchen, where there's an enormous Berkel slicer and a few large platters of Italian comfort. Like a preseason Cubs lineup, Tony Priolo's antipasti assortment changes frequently. There are the usual suspects of eggplant, roasted peppers and squash, but there are also a few surprises, such as sturdy chickpea fries and luscious burrata. Mangia!
