What’s up with soup? The food most commonly associated with sad things like the Great Depression and being sick has taken on a new life with the Hideout's weekly event Soup and Bread. Its popularity resulted in two cookbooks. Soup and Bread founder and author Martha Bayne and WBEZ blogger Louisa Chu say the phenomenon is more than the sum of its parts.
