DVDs and movies on demand might have been your constant companions these past few snowy days, but if you’re feeling ready to actually venture out to a movie, then Eight Forty-Eight's got some suggestions.

First up: The Housemaid. The film’s a re-make of a 1960 South Korean classic, full of intrigue, suspense and erotic thrills.

Eight Forty-Eight's film critic Christy LeMaster pulled out her feather duster and cap to get a clear-eyed view of the new flick. LeMaster is the Managing Director of IFP Chicago and runs the Nightingale Theatre on Milwaukee Ave.
