This week’s blizzard has forced a number of cultural organizations to cancel events. And that’s put a crimp in many a weekend plan. For meteorologist Ginger Zee, weather is her weekend. Ginger is a meteorologist at NBC 5, and she knows all too well how the conditions outside can do a number on your schedule.

And though you’ll usually see her in front of the green screen every weekend, she joined Eight Forty-Eight to share her thoughts for turning Friday through Sunday into a wintry wonderland.
