The Peace on Earth Film Festival features 30 international short films.

Chicago's Peace on Earth Film Festival  was established to celebrate and encourage the work of independent filmmakers from around the globe whose work centers on peace, nonviolence, social justice and sustainability. We’ll speak with the festival’s founder, Nick Angotti, and Australian filmmaker A.J. Carter. Carter's entry Ronan’s Escape tells the story of a 14-year-old boy who has been bullied his whole life at school. Brad Parker, a seventh grade history teacher, and Aleida Cajigas, a student at Chicago’s Josephine Locke Elementary, also join us to share their stories of inspiration from last year’s festival.
