Burning Man is an annual festival held in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, but there are "burners" – that’s the name for devotees of the fest – right here in Chicago’s urban jungle. Many will gather at Resonate 6, a local music and culture fest that takes its inspiration from Burning Man.

Resonate isn’t your everyday rave. It’s a event held in an honest-to-goodness fully-sanctioned legal venue. Matt Fusello is one of the event’s organizers and also part of the DJ group RadioHiro. Fusello joined Eight Forty-Eight to talk about Resonate for the latest installment of The DJ Series: A Spinning Summer.

Resonate 6 takes place Saturday night at the Metro and Smart Bar in Chicago. RadioHiro’s new album 110-220 is out Saturday on Freakeasy Music.
