This week we’re taking a look at nuclear energy around the globe. Today we focus on China. According to the World Nuclear Association, mainland China has 13 nuclear power reactors in operation and at least 25 more are currently under construction. And that is just the beginning. With over 1.3 billion people, China has an insatiable appetitite for energy. Ted Fishman, author of China Inc. and Shock of Gray, discusses how the latest nuclear disaster in Japan might affect China’s growing nuclear industry.
