Dr. Debby Herbenick is a sex-advice columnist and educator.

College is a time for new experiences – students are free from parents, able to meet people from around the world and there are also the parties! For many young people college is also an opportunity for sexual experimentation. One example was uchicagohookups.com, the Website launched recently by some University of Chicago students. It caters to co-eds seeking casual sex or hook-ups.

Does this mean that there's a new relationship to sex on campus? Or was commitment-free sex always a part of the college curriculum? And how does it apply to young people who won’t go to college?

To get a grip on the current sex lives of young people, Eight Forty-Eight turned to Dr. Debby Herbenick, a sexual health educator at Indiana University, sex-advice columnist and blogger.
