Tuesday's aldermanic run-off results decided who would be part Chicago's City Council in May.

For the most part the April 5 runoff has confirmed who will make up the next Chicago City Council. Eight Forty-Eight checked in with some of the candidates - Michele Smith, the presumed winner in the 43rd Ward race against Tim Egan, and James Cappleman, who defeated Molly Phelan to become the alderman-elect of the 46th ward.
