Chicago will soon be seeing some fresh faces and a new mayor in City Hall.

Turnout for Tuesday's runoff election was low. But there were some exciting stories among the outcomes. Four incumbent aldermen appear to have lost. Those seats represent just a portion the turnover in the council. That means a lot of fresh faces at City Hall, assuming the election results hold. And let’s not forget that Chicago will have a new mayor as well.

Eight Forty-Eight spoke to two journalists who have had their eye on the change taking place at city council and city hall. Sam Hudzik is WBEZ’s political reporter. Kyra Kyles is a columnist for the Chicago Tribune’s Red Eye edition.
