Saturday, April 16, is Record Store Day-just one thing to keep you busy on the weekend.

On Saturday many music fans will be rummaging through the bins for Record Store Day. Local shops have big plans to entertain and remind people that vinyl is not dead!

Liz Tooley doesn’t need the yearly reminder. She’s the co-owner of Permanent Records in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village neighborhood. She discussed her rocking weekend plans as part of Eight Forty-Eight's The Weekly Guide.

Liz's List:
FRIDAY:

At 10 pm: Zola Jesus and Cult of Youth play the Empty Bottle
Extra Special Midnight Sale (12:01am) at Permanent Records

SATURDAY:
Earth Day Clean-up Celebration going on in Humboldt Park

At 8 pm: Tutu and the Pirates are playing the Double Door with The Goblins and Nones
