Tim Mahon discussed how the Chicago Bulls' playoff run is expected to affect city revenue.

The Bulls may have the best record in the league. But that stat didn’t seem to impress the Atlanta Hawks. On Monday the Hawks outplayed the Bulls to take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven playoff series.

But never mind the score. What about the dollars? As the Bulls embark on Round 2 of the NBA playoffs, there’s money to be made - for local municipalities and businesses.

Tim Mahon is Principal Analyst for Midwest Diversified Services Group. He estimated just how much money flows into the local area when a team makes a playoff run.
