J. Patrick Lewis was named the new Children's Poet Laureate by the Poetry Foundation.

The Chicago-based Poetry Foundation named a new Children’s Poet Laureate on Wednesday.

J. Patrick Lewis will sport the poetry crown for the next two years - and is the third person to hold the title.

He recently sat down for a conversation with Eight Forty-Eight's Jason Marck, which you can hear by clicking the link atop the page.
