Chinese President Hu Jintao and Mayor Daley visited Walter Payton College Preparatory School earlier this year.

In his last speech to the City Council, Mayor Daley said Chicago would be "competing against China, India, Brazil, Germany, Indonesia," not other American cities. We'll take a look at Daley's legacy and discuss what it will mean for Rahm Emanuel to be mayor of a global city like Chicago.  Jerome is joined in studio by Jim O' Shea, founder of the Chicago News Cooperative, Tuyet Le, executive director of the Asian American Institute, Narimon Safavi, president of Pasfarda Art and Cultural Exchange and Ali Abunimah, co-founder of the Electronic Intifada.
