The new film 'Bridesmaids' opened in theaters on May 13.
Filmmaker Judd Apatow has a knack for making pretty much anything funny. A 40-Year-Old Virgin, an unexpected pregnancy in Knocked Up. Now he’s lent his name, as producer, to the hilarity that ensues when you’re a member of a wedding party.
But Bridesmaids is actually a Kristen Wiig joint. The Saturday Night Live cast member co-wrote and stars in the movie. Hank Sartin is senior editor at Time Out Chicago, and he recently reviewed the film with Eight Forty-Eight's Alison Cuddy.
