What do Beanie Babies, Radio Flyer wagons and the board game Operation have in common? All of them were invented in the Chicago area.

They’re all also part of a new exhibition at the Elmhurst Historical Museum. Toys in the 'Hood explores Chicago’s past and present as a toy and game capital. Lance Tawzer curated the exhibition and recently took host Alison Cuddy on a tour.
