Analysis of President Obama’s speech to Arab world

President Barack Obama addressed the Arab world in a speech earlier today at the US State Department.

Earlier today, President Obama gave a speech outlining US policy toward a changed Middle East. It was his first comprehensive response to the Arab Spring. He said the US would dole out fresh aid to countries in the region that support democracy. Additionally, he chastised Syrian President Bashar Assad for violently clamping down on protesters.
