'The First 48: Missing Persons' premieres Thursday, June 2, at 9pm on A&E.

Fans of The Chicago Code were no doubt saddened by Fox’s decision to cancel the weekly drama. Fortunately, they can still get their fill of the Chicago Police Department on TV. A new series involving real police detectives premieres Thursday, June 2, at 9 p.m. on A&E. The First 48: Missing Persons follows Chicago law enforcement on the job from the first report of a missing person over the next two days. The series is a spin-off of the popular series, The First 48, and is created and produced by local production house, Found Films LLC.

To find out more about the show, Eight Forty-Eight was joined by Selles Morris, a detective in CPD's missing person's division who appears in the first episode of the series.
