Many Liberian school girls are being exploited by male teachers who threaten to fail them if they resist sex.

More and more girls are going to school in Liberia. That’s partly because a female role model – Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf - inspires them. But the girls don’t see many women in responsible positions during the school day. Teachers in Liberia are predominantly male. And that’s causing a real problem for some of the students.

Bonnie Allen reports.
