The Dow fell more than 500 points Thursday.
After a brutal day on Wall Street Thursday, surely a few traders busted out some antacids Friday morning. Compounding the tension was the wait for the latest job report. The numbers for July arrived early Friday morning--they were not bad but they were not great.
So Eight Forty-Eight asked its regular business guru David Greising to assess what it all this meant for the economic forecast.Greising is a reporter with the Chicago News Cooperative.
