The collecting bug hits a lot of people - and before they know it, they've got home full of comic books or record albums or tchotchkes shaped like owls. Larry Klairmont had the bug but it left him with a slightly bigger problem. He collects cars and has displayed 350 of them in a massive building on Chicago’s Northwest Side.  The 84-year-old real estate investor still rises early to work at the office but his afternoons are filled by putting the finishing touches on the Imperial Auto Collection: The Klairmont Collection.
