Tensions have been on the rise at City Hall amidst negotiations and talks surrounding redrawing the city's ward map.

City Hall was tense Thursday and more political maneuvering was expected Friday. Aldermen have been fighting for electoral survival as they redraw the city’s ward boundaries, which they have to do every 10 years using new census data. But demographic shifts have made this decade’s debate more difficult than in the past. WBEZ’s political reporter Sam Hudzik joined Eight Forty-Eight to talk about the map-making mess.
