Eight Forty-Eight showcases a wide variety of music produced by local artists. Often, these musicians come to the show. Sometimes, the show goes out to talk to them. But no matter where they lay down the tunes, these talented folks always manage to push out something extra-special for the show. Producer Jason Marck chose a few peformances that stood out to him. Three of them come from 2011 and one comes from 2009. It's indie-rock, a bit of post-punk funk, and a singer-songwriter with a wry sense of humor.
