Leaders from the 28 nations that make up the North Atlantic Treaty Organization descend on Chicago in May. The Chicago Council on Global Affairs is having a series of events in the run up to the NATO and G-8 summits. Ivo Daalder, the U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, kicked off the series with a speech at the Council yesterday. Ambassador Daalder discusses NATO's involvement in Libya and Afghanistan and the alliance’s future.
