Adam Langer
Chicago son Adam Langer, author of Crossing California, reads from and signs his new book, My Father's Bonus March. Using the Bonus March of 1932, a dramatic but overlooked event in U.S. history, as a means of understanding his relationship with his father, Langer presents a fascinating and beautifully told story that is part memoir, part history and a multigenerational portrait of an American family.

Recorded Thursday, November 05, 2009 at Harold Washington Library Center.
