Jane Mersky Leder
Jane Mersky Leder discusses her new book titled, Thanks for the Memories: Love, Sex, and World War II, on this, the 65th anniversary of the U.S. entry into that war. Ms. Leder recounts the stories of ordinary people in extraordinary times and brings the World War II era to life. World War II significantly changed relationships between the sexes both during the war and for generations to follow. Sometimes romantic but not always, Thanks for the Memories chronicles how men and women during World War II sought love, sex and security in the midst of the upheavals of wartime.
