Dr. Clarence Lusane is an Associate Professor of Political Science and International Relations in the School of International Service at American University. His areas of interest include Political Behavior, International Politics, Black Political Theory, Comparative Politics, Global Race Relations and Global Human Rights Policy.

Dr. Lusane has published several books, including Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice: Foreign Policy, Race and the New American Century and Hitler's Black Victims: the Historic Experiences of Afro-Germans, Africans, Afro Europeans, and African Americans during the Nazi Era. A Black History of the White House: Radical Setbacks, Racial Progress and the Presidency is coming soon.
