Bears and Packer fans have loads of local options for their viewing and brewing pleasures to watch the NFC Championship Sunday.

To truly enjoy a football game you need a beer in one hand and a brat in the other! ESPN's Lester Munson told "Eight Forty-Eight," the Bears-Packer meet up is the biggest sports event in Chicago history. So if you’re not hosting a party, you should probably figure out what bar stool or booth you’ll be sitting in this Sunday afternoon.

To help you choose, "Eight Forty-Eight" spoke to the man who wrote the book on Chicago bars, Steve Parnell. Parnell is author of "Historic Bars of Chicago."
Some of Steve's choices. Also, check out WBEZ food blogger Steve Dolinsky's ideas for what to eat on Sunday.
