The new documentary film follows young people on their path to religious service.
Because it’s easy to get caught up in the day to day distractions, and forget all about the higher ideals that guide us, "Eight Forty-Eight" likes to do a spiritual check-in from time to time. But for some individuals, the daily grind is all about reflection and introspection.
A new documentary series follows a group of diverse young people training to become spiritual leaders within their respective faiths.
Danny Alpert is a director and executive producer behind "The Calling."
Alpert talked to host Alison Cuddy and said the film tracks a common struggle facing those who answer the call to service.
