Since the magnitude 7 earthquake shook Haiti, we've taken a weekly look at the recovery effort and examined the nation's challenges before and after the quake. Today, we're going to follow up with one of our previous guests, Lionel Jean-Baptiste. He's chairman and co-founder of the Haitian Congress to Fortify Haiti and an alderman for the city of Evanston. Jean-Baptiste recently returned from a trip to Port-au-Prince, where he met with the Haitian government, UN leaders, the U.S. military and humanitarian groups.
