How does the sound of music travel from the stage of the Pritzker Pavilion?  Why exactly is it always cooler by the lake in the summer?  And why do you see yourself in different shapes in the Bean?  This program explains the science behind three Millennium Park phenomena: the acoustics at the Pritzker Pavilion, the lake effect, and the optics in the "Bean" (Cloudgate by Anish Kapoor).

This program is presented in partnership with the Mayor's Office of Special Events as part of Chicago Science Expedition "Two Weeks Worth of "Wow"!

Recorded Tuesday, October 03, 2006 at Millennium Park.
